DO: STAY CALM
DON'T: RESTRAIN PERSON
DO: KEEP PATIENT SAFE
DON'T: OFFER FOOD or DRINK UNTIL ALERT
DO: MOVE AWAY FURNITURE, TURN HEAD, KEEP TRACK OF TIME.(get next to them, keep airway clean by turn the head to one side, to avoid vomit up. if they have seizure more then 5mins then there a problem, keep track of the them. once they calm and awake bring them to the doctor)
DON'T: PUT ANYTHING IN MOUTH.
3 MYTHS
1. DON'T PUT FINGERS IN THEIR MOUTH.
2. DON'T CHOKE IN THE TONGUE( it doesn't happen, the tongue naturally pull out of the way)
3. SHOULD CALL AMBULANCE( by the time they get there the seizure almost be over anyway, more important move all the furniture out the way then make a phone call)
